The SUCCESS project is dedicated to supporting individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD), including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying health literacy levels. We have created an app-based intervention that combines proven behaviour change techniques with health literacy strategies to empower informed decision-making at every stage of CKD.

Following a successful feasibility study in four New South Wales Local Health Districts, we are now conducting a cluster-randomised trial funded by NSW Health and Medical Research Translational Research Grant Scheme, with 400 participants enrolled so far. The study spans Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, Sydney, Northern Sydney, and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health Districts.
