The I-MAGICK study uses data linkage to evaluate the health service delivery for people with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) affected by multimorbidity, including cardiovascular disease and mental health conditions.
We are developing evidence to improve equitable delivery of health care and services, including cardiovascular and mental health service delivery for people with advanced CKD. We are also investigating individual cardiovascular responses to identify different subgroups for whom cardiovascular medications and therapies are particularly effective and safe in people with advanced CKD.
This work will improves pathways to kidney transplantation by maintaining low cardiovascular risk and facilitating more access for people with mental health conditions.
